Graphic Design Intern

Description

As a Graphic Design Intern at UPT, you will join our Marketing Department at our UNCC offices and collaborate on a wide range of design projects—from social media assets and product spec sheets to tradeshow materials and apparel design. The Graphic Design Intern will work alongside our Sales Engineer, as well as R&D and Commercial Teams, to support marketing campaigns that showcase UPT’s cutting-edge coatings to various markets.

Responsibilities

• Create Visual Assets: Develop graphics for social media posts, marketing campaigns, presentations, and product materials.

• Brand Support: Assist with the design of tradeshow booths, signage, apparel, and other brand collateral.

• Templates & Layouts: Craft PowerPoint slide decks, layout product spec sheets, and maintain brand consistency across materials.

• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, R&D, and commercial teams to align design work with strategic objectives.

• File Management: Organize and maintain design files, ensuring versions and assets are accessible and up to date.

Required Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills; willingness to work in a cross-functional team.

• Passion for Technology: Genuine interest in marrying design with innovative technologies.

Experience / Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related marketing degree with strong graphic design experience.
